Dear Synergy Theater Fan,
After seven years as a 501(c)(3), improvising theater in the San Francisco Bay Area, Synergy Theater will be winding up business and ceasing operations on October 28, 2026. It has been a wonderful ride and most precious of all has been you, the members of our Synergy Theater community. Your friendship, love and support have always meant the world to us. Thank you for attending our shows, taking our classes, playing at our jams, attending our improv festivals, donating to our company, supporting our youth outreach programs, and hanging out with us at the Lazy Dog. Thank you for supporting the arts in our little corner of the world and for helping us fulfill our heartfelt mission of building a better world through the art of improvisation. We think that we’ve done a pretty good job over the years, and we could never have done it without you. Thank you!
As we’re still here until October 28, we’re still offering:
- Our current summer session of classes through our School of Improvisation
- Our fall session of classes that begins in September
- Our annual School of Improvisation picnic on August 16
- Our open-to-everyone improv jam on August 26
- Our Diablo Improv Festival, co-produced with DKW Productions and Spontaneous Mind, at the Lesher Center for the Arts, October 16 – 18
- And our monthly online productions of Write Away!
